Television host and senatorial candidate Willie Revillame received criticism on social media after he was spotted walking away from a Sampaguita vendor who wanted to meet him.

In a video published on social media, Willie could be seen greeting his supporters and having some photo-op when the Sampaguita vendor walked towards him.

However, when the vendor was approaching, Willie decided to walk away and just ask his staff to give the man a jacket.

Willie received negative comments from the netizens as he was known for his platform to push for the welfare of the poor.
